The Corporate Traveller Brand Story

Corporate Traveller was originally established in the UK in 1999 as the founding corporate brand of Flight Centre Limited. Corporate Traveller was created to focus solely on the needs of small to medium enterprises (SME).

Following the acquisition of Britannic Travel in 2003, Flight Centre Limited rebranded its stable of corporate brands, including Corporate Traveller, to FCm Travel Solutions. Together with our global network of businesses in the Flight Centre Group, FCm Travel Solutions became one of the worlds largest corporate travel and expense management companies in the world.

In 2010, after a very successful five years under the banner of FCm Travel Solutions where the business became a mix of SME and multinational business, FCm decided to relaunch Corporate Traveller to focus solely on its SME clients. The model of specialised service from dedicated experts has proven very successful and Corporate Traveller is consistently winning large levels of new business in this sector. All staff in Corporate Traveller are paid on their ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients and are motivated to keep their business.

Corporate Traveller is constantly expanding across the UK with new offices in London, the north and west of England and Scotland all planned for 2010/11.

The Flight Centre Brand Story – our parent company

Flight Centre limited has its origins in Top Deck Travel, a UK company founded by Graham Turner (Skroo) and Bill James in 1973 after discovering the freedom of bus travel in Europe. The company's Australian presence can be traced back to the opening of a London-style discount travel centre in Sydney in 1982 where they specialised in selling discounted airfares. Since Flight Centre limited listed in December 1995 - which was also the year the first UK store was opened, it has since expanded via a combination of organic growth and acquisition activity. In 2008, the company expanded its North American exposure with the acquisition of Liberty Travel.

What makes Flight Centre limited different is that it has an extensive global footprint of stores, creating an impressive distribution network for travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, car rentals). Its brand name is well regarded internationally and is easily recognised. It is among the largest online retailers of travel services in the world.
