Can we really make a difference? Yes we can, and we do. We truly believe in our company philosophies and below are just some of the initiatives we have in place to give a little back.
Charity of the Year
Each year we enter a relationship with a charity chosen by our staff. In 2016 we have a target to raise £200,000 for Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimer's Scotland. In previous years the charities chosen include Make-A-Wish, MacMillan Cancer Support and Help for Heroes.

Through the profits from their office supplies business, our stationary provider Wildhearts fund loans to empower the poor and help them work their way out of poverty. Find out more about how Microfinance works.
Through our relationship with First Mile we are proud to say we are a zero waste to landfill business. First Mile recycle 90% of our waste. The rest will be used to generate electricity and nothing goes to landfill.
Flight Centre's energy contract is made up of renewable source electricity. This comes from a combination of wind, solar, good quality CHP & tidal energy to name a few. By taking a green contract, Flight Centre is actively supporting the UK's goal of becoming a green nation. The money British Gas make from this will be reinvested in future 'green projects' including windfarm constructions at The Glens of Foudland and Barrow Offshore, Lynn and Inner Dowsing in the Greater Wash area. By using renewable source electricity we can help ensure there are more options for future generations.
Working with Susterra we monitor our carbon footprint and the environmental impact of our business travel. We then offset the carbon emmissions from all staff travel. The money from this is invested back in to carbon neutral projects such as the building of wind farms or solar power plants.
