Corporate Traveller to launch in USA

Corporate Traveller, the travel and expense management specialist for the SME market, is set to launch in the United States on July 1 as a complimentary brand alongside FCm Travel Solutions’ US operation.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, Corporate Traveller will have eight additional offices across the USA in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC.

Garry Sutton, a 16-year veteran of parent company Flight Centre Limited, has been named brand leader for Corporate Traveller in the United States. He has held the post of FCm’s US national operations manager based in Los Angeles since 2009. Before then he was operations leader for Corporate Traveller in Canada for six years.

Flight Centre Limited currently operates the Corporate Traveller brand in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and South Africa.

John Beauvais, President of FCm Travel Solutions US operations said: "I am very excited about the launch of Corporate Traveller in the United States. Our research shows there is a large and growing market of companies who self-manage their travel through online travel companies and who do not know the benefits of a managed travel programme."

Garry Sutton added: "We feel the time is right to launch the Corporate Traveller brand in the US. International experience has shown there is demand a business model which offers our clients a local dedicated account manager who takes the time to build a relationship with travellers and travel coordinators allowing for delivery of a more personal and insightful service. We plan to launch in nine cities, but I look forward to further expansion into other major US cities in due course."
