Corporate Traveller is officially a ‘Great Place to Work’

Corporate Traveller’s parent company Flight Centre Travel Group has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for the eighth year running. Climbing six places from 2017, Flight Centre was placed at 18th in the rankings published by Great Place to Work®.

 

The Great Place to Work Institute UK is part of the world’s largest consultancy specialising in workplace assessment and optimisation. This means it has unrivalled insight into what makes an organisation’s employees tick and how leaders can improve their business performance by understanding and improving their workplace culture.

This year, over 7,000 companies competed for a place on the prestigious Great Place to Work list. Flight Centre was recognised in the large organisation category (companies with 500+ employees).

Flight Centre was rigorously assessed in terms of the company’s values and ethics; communication and involvement; teamwork; recognition; and empowerment and accountability. This process involved an extensive Trust Index© Survey among employees which is designed to measure staff perception of the quality of their workplace relationships with management, with their jobs and with other employees. Flight Centre’s results were outstanding in every category, with survey scores soaring far above the UK average.

The Trust© Index represents two thirds of the overall score. The remaining third is allocated to the Culture Audit©, a business-driven questionnaire that Great Places to Work uses to understand and evaluate the organisation’s HR and leadership practices, policies and culture.
